The visit was organized by the Swedish-Karelian Business and Information Center in the framework of the joint Russian-Swedish project “No Limits in Life”, which brought together a number of Karelian municipalities (Kostomuksha, Pryazha, Sortavala) and partners from Västerbotten county in Sweden (municipalitites of Umeå and Skellefteå).

Meetings were organized for the representatives of the two Swedish municipal organizations — Aros Center from Umeå and Solkraft enterprise from Skellefteå, to exchange experience with the Karelian colleagues representing employment services, social protection agencies, municipal government.

In each district a round table “Temporary employment for people with disabilities: Swedish experience” was held, where our Swedish colleagues presented their methods and approaches that have already proved their effectiveness.
